Since I was a little girl, I have always loved making things. Scrapbooks and birthday cakes were my specialty at age 11. I’ve carried that passion with me as I’ve gotten older, but now I find myself making things like mood boards or budgets and building garden-style floral installations. The name “Daymaker” was inspired by this love for creativity and the admiration that I have for makers and creatives— a community that I am so lucky to be a part of!
I started working in floral design during my freshman year of college. Working as a wedding vendor, I had the opportunity to help with over 200 weddings during my undergraduate career! This experience allowed me to visit almost every venue in Northwest Arkansas, network in the vendor community, and learn the ropes of wedding coordination by communicating with other planners. On top of that, I developed an eye for style and appreciation for the art of event design. I absolutely fell head over heels in love with weddings and knew that I needed to pursue my own business in event design and coordination.
Fast forward to 2019, I am in my first official year of business as Daymaker. God has already blessed me with incredibly sweet couples and a few awesome cheerleaders in the industry who are helping me along my way. I am so excited to see what else this year will hold for Daymaker!
